The BioSwim XLS Oxidizer is a standalone chlorinator engineered to do the job of a traditional salt or chlorine system, sanitising your pool and keeping it crystal clear, while running on ultra low salt.

XLS stands for exactly that: eXtra Low Salt.

Installed inline with your existing pool equipment, the BioSwim XLS uses a low-voltage electrolytic process to generate chlorine from a much lighter salt concentration than a conventional system, while also oxidising the organic waste (body oils, sunscreen, sweat, cosmetics) that clouds water and drives up chlorine demand.

How it works

While your pump runs, the BioSwim XLS generates chlorine through a low-voltage electrolytic process, using a significantly lighter salt concentration than a standard salt chlorinator requires to do the same job. At the same time, it oxidises the organic waste swimmers bring into the pool, easing the ongoing demand on the system and helping keep water clear between clean cycles.

It’s the same fundamentals as a traditional chlorinator, reliable, chlorine-based sanitising, engineered to need far less salt to get there.

Upgrade option: Add the pH BOSS

Chlorine only works efficiently within the right pH range — outside it, sanitiser is wasted and water can turn cloudy fast. Most pool owners manage this manually, testing and dosing acid by hand.

The pH BOSS automatic pH controller can be added to your BioSwim XLS system to monitor and correct pH in real time, automatically, while your pump runs. No testing kits, no guesswork, no manual dosing, just consistently balanced water that lets your BioSwim XLS run at peak efficiency.

We've had a bioniser pool (converted from a chlorine pool) for a few months. It was a great decision to make. The pool water is crystal clear and doesn''t stink of chemicals. It is important to ensure the pool is chemically balanced. When I get the pool water tested at the pool shop I'm not walking out with loads of chemicals to be added. We changed the filter media from sand to glass when the bioniser system was installed and it made a massive difference to filtration efficiency. I bought the whole system. When I make the effort and check the levels, I never have any problems. The guys at Bionizer are ALWAYS happy to help and the customer service is top notch. In Mildura I have had to learn to do everything myself as the local pool people did not understand that a pool worked without chlorine, but I have shown them that this is false. My daughters skin used to react to the chlorine, her hair would break, and we would all get sore eyes. NO MORE! If the idea of a pool that has no chlorine in it, is sparkling clear and gets the occasional duck swimming in it (Yes, that really happens) then get a Bionizer and don't look back.
